Thanks for visiting our website at First United Methodist Church, Durant. We are a vibrant and growing church with a mission to be the head, the heart, and the hands of Christ. Our desire is to grow and help others grow closer to God. We encourage that growth through a process we call Spiritual GPS (Growth Positioning System). We offer a variety of opportunities to chart a faith course, such as two distinct worship services, Sunday School, long-term and short-term Bible studies, spiritual growth retreats, and mission opportunities. We believe God loves us where we are but also loves us enough not to leave us there!
 
Be sure to check out our website for various ways to become involved in our church. We have wonderful ministries for children, youth, and adults. Opportunities are geared for all ages so it doesn’t matter if you’re 1 or 100. There is a place here for everyone to come and experience God’s grace.
