Welcome to Durant First United Methodist Church!

We're glad you've come to our website.  We are a growing and vibrant church.  Whether you are 1 month or 100 years old, we have a place for you to belong and serve.  I encourage you to discover more about our ministries through our website, but let me highlight a few. 

First, we offer two distinct styles of worship:  traditional at 9 a.m. and contemporary at 11 a.m.  So whether your preference is organ and liturgy or praise band and media, you'll feel at home.  Of course, both styles focus on connecting us with God.

Secondly, if you have children (or grandchildren for that matter), you'll want to see the Love Boat, our rotation model of Sunday School.  We've remodeled our children's area so that children are excited to learn about God's love.  If your children are older, then our youth group is where they will feel at home.  We've done extensive remodeling to create an inviting environment for our teenagers to grow in faith.

Of course, we have ministries for adults as well:  Sunday School, choirs, Bible studies, senior adults, men's ministry, and women's ministry are just the beginning of where you can become involved.
